Mission Statement
We, the people of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary-Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, born of Assumption, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and St. Agnes Parishes, are committed to learning to love God and our neighbor as Christ commanded, going forth into the world, and making disciples of all nations, with Mary as our model and protector.
Our Parish is a bilingual Parish, serving both the English-speaking and Spanish-speaking parishioners that are part of our growing faith community. We offer nine (9) Masses on the weekends and daily Mass during the week. Please visit our Mass Schedule page for the Mass times at our Parish.
Assumption-Guadalupe Catholic Church has three different church buildings that make up the Parish: Our Lady of Guadalupe church, St Agnes church, and Assumption church. Although St Agnes church has served the South Omaha faith community for many decades (since 1889), it is close to retirement. Our Lady of Guadalupe and Assumption churches are the active churches in our faith community, and we encourage you to take a moment from your busy day and stop by to spend some time with Jesus.
