Formación en la fe para niños
Our Faith Formation program for children is held throughout the regular school year, starting in September and running through April. The program is designed to explain the Catholic faith to our children and prepare them to receive the Sacraments of Baptism (if needed), Confession, First Communion, and Confirmation. Children seven (7) years of age through sixteen (16) years of age can enter the program. Please contact the Faith Formation office for more information at 402-731-8240.
Nuestro programa de formación en la fe para niños se lleva a cabo durante el año escolar regular, comenzando en septiembre y extendiéndose hasta abril. El programa está diseñado para explicar la fe católica a los niños y prepararlos para recibir los sacramentos del Bautismo (si fuera necesario), la Confesión, la Primera Comunión y la Confirmación. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a program designed to teach the Catholic faith to adults who are not Catholic, or for Catholics who have not received all of their initial Sacraments (Baptism, First Communion, Confession, and Confirmation) prior to reaching the age of 17. This program begins in the Fall of each year, with the conclusion at Easter, where they will receive their Sacraments and become full members in communion with the Catholic Church. Are you curious about the Catholic Church? Do you know someone curious about the Catholic Church? Were you raised Catholic but never baptized? Were you baptized Catholic but never received the Sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation? Did you receive all of your sacraments, but want to learn more about the Catholic faith? OCIA welcomes you.
OCIA is the journey through which adults are welcomed into full communion with the Catholic Church. It’s a journey of faith, reflection, prayer, and learning—open to anyone who feels drawn to explore the beauty, depth, and truth of the Catholic tradition.
Whether you are unbaptized, baptized in another Christian tradition, a baptized Catholic seeking to complete your Sacraments, or you simply want to learn more about our Catholic faith, you are welcome here at Our Lady of the Saints OCIA.
Fall 2026 Classes
Classes begin Sunday, September 13th at 4 pm at the Assumption Cafeteria with the Kerygma Project. This will be a 5-week series.
After this 5-week series, the classes will move to Saturday’s at 10 am in the St. Mary’s basement, starting on October 17th.

¿Tienes curiosidad por la Iglesia Católica? ¿Conoces a alguien que tenga curiosidad por la Iglesia Católica? ¿Te criaron como católico pero nunca te bautizaron? ¿Te bautizaron como católico pero nunca recibiste los Sacramentos de la Eucaristía o la Confirmación? ¿Recibiste todos tus sacramentos, pero quieres aprender más sobre la fe católica? La OCIA es el proceso a través del cual los adultos son recibidos en plena comunión con la Iglesia Católica. Es un viaje de fe, reflexión, oración y aprendizaje, abierto a cualquiera que se sienta atraído a explorar la belleza, la profundidad y la verdad de la tradición católica.
